Years 7-9 annual end of year exams

All students in Years 7-9 will be sitting annual end of year exams as part of our assessment procedures. End of year examinations are important for a number of reasons:

  • Allows staff to conduct question by question analysis to see which topics need revisiting to improve responses.
  • Personalised feedback can be given to the students on how to make progress
  • They are an important opportunity for students to experience terminal examinations and revision in preparation for public examinations later in their school career.

End of year exams will take place between Monday, 17th June and Monday, 24th June 2019 and students will sit the exams in the theatre or the sports hall, our formal exam room.

The timetable has been emailed to all parent/carers.

We would expect students to prepare fully for these exams and conduct themselves in an appropriate way that is conducive to achieving their full potential. Results of these exams will be issued to students and parents by the end of the school year.

If you have any questions or queries regarding these exams please do not hesitate to contact the school.
